Fees and timing

How fees are calculated

Mirage uses a base service fee of 15 basis points (0.15%) of the transfer amount. That is $0.15 for every $100 transferred.

The final service fee is quote-based, so it may not equal the base percentage alone. It can also reflect variables involved in executing the transaction, such as the token, transfer size, available node liquidity, execution costs, and current network conditions. Mirage combines these inputs into one service-fee quote rather than showing a separate platform fee and node fee.

Normal Ethereum gas is separate from the Mirage service fee and is paid through your wallet. Before you approve anything, Mirage shows the current quote and the total amount required. The quote can change if transaction details or execution conditions change, so always review the latest total.

How long transfers take

On Ethereum, a Mirage transfer is typically completed in under 90 seconds. Network congestion and wallet confirmation time can make individual transactions take longer.

If timing is important, wait for the transfer to show as complete before relying on it.
